Request for Proposals For this project, you are tasked to write a grant proposal to resolve a social ill in your community. This project consists of two parts. The first part is a written paper outlining theory and practice, a narrative to how you arrived to your conclusions, and what your proposed solutions are. You must provide 5 citations to back up your thought process, and you may follow the APA style. The second component is an actual grant write-up. This write-up will be a response to an “RFP”, or “Request for Proposals” and will be outlined as such: 1) The Problem 2) Program Design and Structure - (Overall Goals, Timeline, Models) 3) Program Implementation and Facilitation – How will this program run? How will it be facilitated? 4) Technical Requirements – What resources do you need in order to execute programming? 5) Education Description – What knowledge is being shared with participants? What educational/programmatic models will you follow? 6) Impact Outcomes, Evaluation and Plan for Data Collection – What outcomes do you expect? How will you prove your outcomes? What kind of data do you need? How will it be reported? To who? 7) Itinerary – Actual programmatic timeline over a fiscal year. 8) Program Budget – Attached 9) Conclusion – Closing Statement
