Often times what we label a "collaboration" may actually be another type of partnership: cooperation, coordination, or collective impact. Please refer to the Mattessich and Johnson handout (see attached) and review the characteristics of these other types of partnerships. In your review, think about the partnerships in which your field placement organization is engaged. Choose one (1) of these partnerships and describe why it exists - who is involved, what they do, and how they do their work in support of the organization's mission. Using the charts in the handout, critically analyze what type of partnership it is: cooperative partnership, coordinated partnership, collaborative partnership, or collective impact partnership.
