I will pay extra for a powerpoint to go with the speech! The speech doesn't need to be 5 pages but it needs to be 5-6 minutes when read out life. Plan and present a speech which will stir the emotions of the audience so that they will look at a different side of a subject that is currently newsworthy. A discussion about an issue on the local, state, federal or international level would be an acceptable topic. An example of this type of speech could be; new stop light cameras, "dry" counties, border protection, America at War, racial profiling, police brutality, length of prison sentences, ect This speech requires at least two sources of authority be used in the research and be cited clearly and effectively within the speech. You MUST have a powerpoint, prezi, or other electronic slide show.
