1. In Figure 1C, the authors diagram the zinc finger construct used in their studies. Explain the role for each of the following components of this construct: CMV, hSYN1, ZFP-TF.89, 2a, and Venus. 2. In Figures 2B and 2C, the authors test the ability of ZFP-TF.89 to repress tau expression. They look at two different measures of tau expression. For each panel (2B and 2C), indicate the major method used to evaluate tau expression (the general name of the method is sufficient) and very briefly describe their findings for the ZFP-TF.89 construct (indicated as 89v in this figure).
